LONGLISTED DEZEEN AWARDS 2020

We designed two Yoga Studios and a meditation room, all accessed off a welcoming foyer space, for our clients Egg of the Universe. One studio is the “Earth” room and one studio is the “Sky” room. They have a very different feel from each other. As one of the studios was destined to not have any windows, we needed this room to feel amazing and really like a jewellery box. We achieved this by cladding the walls, floor and ceiling in plywood, with a series of “ribs” of posts and beams in solid oregon timber.
